Harriet Lorraine Shelton, 86, Crawfordsville, died 7:36 p.m. Thursday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mrs. Shelton was a 1936 Alamo High school graduate, homemaker and member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was born Dec. 8, 1918, at Shades Hotel, Waveland, to Leonard Bunk and Euma Cotten Haskett. She married Leslie E. Shelton Dec. 12, 1936, at Crawfordsville. He survives. Also surviving are daughter Carolyn (Ivan) Brewer, Crawfordsville; sons Robert, Invenes, Fla., Larry, Crawfordsville, and Terry, Waveland; sisters Jane Hart, Carmel, and Betty Murdock, Taylor Ridge, Ill.; brother Joe Haskett, Crawfordsville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A brother, James Haskett, is deceased. Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Monday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 E. Green St., Waveland. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
